About us

Liberty Urgent Care was born of necessity according to the physician-owners who also work as local emergency department physicians. They saw that something was missing in the health care system. When patients had unexpected illnesses or injuries, they only had two choices: they could either wait to see their family doctor by appointment or go to a hospital emergency department. Neither choice was a good one.

Our urgent care center is like a neighborhood minor emergency room. It can manage most of the routine minor illnesses and injuries that occur for the average population. Liberty Urgent Care is a great alternative to the emergency room or at times when your family physician is unavailable. Liberty Urgent Care offers medical care when you need it, on your schedule. Our facility is designed to get you in and get you out and on your way, to save time and to save money for the consumer and the insurers.

Our board-certified physicians have extensive emergency medicine and family practice experience. Our support staff includes certified medical assistants with state certified radiology skills, and experts in billing and coding.

Liberty Urgent Care is well equipped to provide care for most minor medical problems. Our facility is a 3,000 square foot building featuring a waiting room for relatives (noting that patients usually spend very little time if any in the waiting room.). There are a total of 6 exam rooms.

  • Onsite X-Ray capability
  • Cardiac monitor
  • Cardiac resuscitation cart including defibrillator,emergency intubation equipment, IV hydration and antiarrhythmic medications
  • Pulse oximetry
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • EKGs
  • Surgical trays for lacerations/abscesses
  • Nebulizer therapy
  • Splinting material for fractures and sprains
  • In-house lab testing including:
  • Rapid strep screens
  • Mononucleosis rapid screens
  • Influenza rapid screens
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Urinalysis
  • Drug screening (urine, hair, DOT & Non-DOT)
  • Alcohol Testing (Breath alcohol)
